THE ROYAL ESTATE

The vast "Le Pin" estate, nestled in over 2,500 acres of greenery, with its gem of the National Stud!

Come and visit this unique painting, signed by the Versailles School of Landscape Architecture, that has managed to withhold its agriculture vocation since the 18th Century. This site, which came into existence upon Royal Order, today offers a hive of activities, for example, training courses, held at both the "Jumenterie" (a research centre for reproduction and breeding) and the school of the National Stud institution, showjumping and breed shows in the magnificent "Haut-Bois" park, not forgetting horseracing at the "Bergerie" Racecourse, for a thrilling "day at the races" in the autumn (flat and steeplechase racing alike).

The National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA), also located on the estate, is in charge of conducting research on bovine genetics and on forage crops.

Maintained by man since the Age of Enlightment, this former Royal Estate has been handed down over the centuries, almost intact, its secrets waiting to be discovered by he who dares venture into the depths of nature, along those impeccable paths and walkways.

From the surrounding "Le Pin" forest over to the paddocks, and from the bridle paths leading to the "Bergerie" racecourse down to the vale of the "Haut-Bois" Park, a magnificent estate welcomes you with open arms! Come and enjoy the delightful hiking trails accessible to all!

For groups, we can organise a guided coach tour around "Le Pin" Estate – please enquire.

A memorable experience!
