Groups are welcome all year round, pending prior booking, even during the closed period when we endeavour to adapt to your needs.

Stallion parade with traditional horse-drawn carriages to music:

* “Le Pin” Thursdays

- Show every Thursday from 9^th June to 29^th September 2011 at 3 p.m.

* “Le Pin” Tuesdays - Show on Tuesdays 19^th & 26^th July and on 2^nd & 9^th and 16^th August 2011 at 3 p.m.

Learning about the horse and related professions:

Single rate: €2

* Visit to the Training Centre of the National Stud institution (30 to 45 min.)

* Visit to the forge (30 min.)

- Visits possible during the week upon prior booking and depending on the Stud’s activities.

* Visit to the paddocks with the horses running free (30 min.)

- Visits possible depending on the Stud’s activities.

* Visit to the Saddler’s Room (30 min.)

- Visits possible during the week upon prior booking and depending on the Stud’s activities.

* Horse & pony care workshop (30 min.)

* An insight into horse nutrition (30 min.)

For students studying horse breeding, special visits to the “Jumenterie” research centre are possible during the week, upon prior booking and depending on the Stud’s activities, in order to learn more about reproduction in the horse .

Carriage rides around "Le Pin" estate, drawn by the famous Percheron cart horses, are available for groups upon prior booking.

You can concoct your own “menu” for your day’s outing at Le Pin National Stud, where additional visits are possible to suit your fancy, for example, a visit to the “Jumenterie” research centre or to the National Stud Training Centre, or perhaps you would prefer a commentated coach tour of Le Pin estate (1,000 ha / 2,471 acres)? For any such needs, please first enquire.

Visits to the forge and to the Saddler’s Room are subject to approval by the National Stud in accordance with its activities. Alternating parallel visits may also be organised depending on the number of pupils visiting. Group rates are applied as of 20 paying schoolchildren.

Educational worksheets are available upon request (1^st & 2^nd degree levels, 6^th/5^th forms & 4^th/3^rd forms).
